I have track record of attracting votes for CPP – Samia

Presidential hopeful on the ticket of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Ms Samia Yaba Nkrumah has indicated she has the track record of attracting votes for the party and therefore stands tall among her competitors.

She said she has been able to lead successful campaigns on two occasions for the CPP in winning the Jomoro and Kunbungu Parliamentary seats.
“…and even in Talensi, I think I have demonstrated that we can work on the ground very well smoothly with the PNC”, Ms Samia said moments after she was vetted at the party’s headquarters in Accra.

Ms Nkrumah is in the race to lead the CPP as flagbearer in 2016 with former General Secretary, Ivor Greenstreet, legal practitioner, Bright Akwetey, and Joseph Agyapong.

The daughter of the founder of the CPP, Dr Kwame Nkrumah urged members of her party to choose her to lead them in the November elections.

She insisted her track record sets her apart from all other aspirants making her the best bet for victory in the coming elections.

‘’Few years I have led successful campaigns on two occasions. I was central to the campaign for us to win our seat, first in Jomoro and then Kunbungu and even in Talensi, I think I have demonstrated that we can work on the ground very well smoothly with the PNC. I think my track record as somebody who is capable of attracting votes is there for everyone to see. The figures speak for themselves’’, she said.
