Ghanaians advised to foster bond of unity

A statement signed by the President of the house, Wulugu Naba Pugansoa Naa Prof John S. Nabila, said it was gratifying that both local and foreign observers testified to the peaceful and successful nature of the elections and went further to ask other Africa countries to emulate Ghana's example.

It, however, noted the unfortunate developments that followed the elections which created tension in the country.

"Nananom, as fathers of the nation, urge all parties concerned to resolve all outstanding disputes peacefully through established constitutional and legal procedures in an atmosphere free of recriminations, violence and intimidation," the statement said.
