Lead with service - Volta Regional NDC chairman urges constituency executives

The Volta Regional Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mawutor Agbavitor, has charged newly elected constituency executives in the region to see their positions as a call to duty and service rather than a mere title.

In a statement congratulating the executives of the party's 18 constituencies in the Volta Region, Mr Agbavitor said the trust the people had placed in them demanded dedication and responsible leadership.

"Your election is more than a title; it is a call to duty and service to the people who have placed their trust in you," he said.

Full support

Mr Agbavitor, who spoke on behalf of the Volta Regional Executives of the party, assured the new office holders of the full support and cooperation of the regional leadership as they take up their new roles.

He said the regional leadership was ready to work closely with the constituency executives to ensure the party's growth and effectiveness at the grass roots.
Collective effort

The Regional Chairman appealed to the executives to work together with the regional leadership to strengthen the party, uplift their communities and bring development to every part of the Volta Region.

"Together, let us work to strengthen our party, uplift our communities, and bring development to every corner of the Volta Region," he stated.

Wish for tenure

Mr Agbavitor expressed the hope that the tenure of the new executives would be marked by unity, dedication and tangible results.

He concluded the statement with the party's rallying call, "For God, for Country, and for Volta", and extended a final welcome and congratulations to the newly elected leaders.

The constituency elections form part of the party's internal processes to renew its leadership structures at the grass roots ahead of future electoral contests.
