Ghana needs peace to develop - Graphic MD
The Managing Director of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), Ing. Kenneth Ashigbey has advised Ghanaians to eschew violent acts during the 2016 elections in order to promote the development of the country.

Speaking on the sidelines of a free health screening excercise organised by the GCGL in partnership with Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) on Saturday in Adabraka, Ing Ashigbey explained that Ghana could only be developed in a peaceful environment.
"We are in 2016 and we are in September. In a few months time we will have our elections and I pray that all of us realise that as our country Ghana the only way we can develop is in a peaceful country,' he said.
"We should realise that elections is about choosing a leader, it is like employing somebody, so it does not deserve a drop of anybody's blood, let us all be tolerant.
"Let us all ask our leaders what they can do for us, let's ensure that we vote based on issues, what is it that any political person who is standing for elections can do for us.
"Let's ask our President, Presidential and Parliamentary candidates the questions that we require to be able to ensure that we will take the right decision. The only way again that Ghana can develop is within a peaceful country, so let's all work together to ensure that we will have a peaceful election," he said.
Ing. Ashigbey also assured the Adabraka residents of the best election coverage across the GCGL brands, pledging to fulfill its constitutional mandate.
"For us at Graphic we will continue to focus on holding our leadership to account, that is what the constitution has mandated us to do, so we will do that. You can follow-up on the elections on Ghana's Election Centre, Graphic's coverage of the elections.
He added, "We are a state media and we will continue to provide balanced coverage for the elections."
