FONKAR to target grassroots to boost NDP membership

The National Coordinator of the Friends Of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (FONKAR), Mr Joseph Bediako, has stated that the group would boost membership of the National Democratic Party (NDP)  by targeting people at the grassroots.

He said FONKAR would target people in their homes, schools, villages and towns and as well as the marketplaces.

“We don’t even need the media to cover all our programmes and activities…. We are going grounds, town to town, village to village, school to school then we talk to the people”, he said.

Mr Boakye said the NDP would also woo members from other political parties to join the group to support former First Lady,Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings in her presidential bid.

He said together with other members in the group, they were going to rally around Nana Konadu Rawlings to win political power in the 2016 general elections.
