Sam George claims his two aides kidnapped

Sam George has filed a complaint with the Prampram police, claiming that he was punched in the eye by an aide to ET Mensah. He also alleged that two of his aides had been kidnapped.

Mr George and Mr Mensah are contesting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primary in the Ningo-Prampram constituency.

The election has, however, been postponed due to an allegation by Mr George to the effect that about 3,000 names, mainly of his supporters, have been deleted from the register.

The Constituency Director of Elections, Noble Amenyawu told GraphicOnline’s Benjamin Glover that the process has been put on hold following consultation with the Regional Police Commander and other security heads.
