EC extends registration at offices to include persons above 50, health workers and security personnel

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced special arrangements to enable specialized groups of Ghanaian citizens to participate in the ongoing voters registration exercise.

The EC is a statement said beginning Saturday, July 25, 2020, "all applicants who are 50 YEARS AND ABOVE can visit any of the EC District Offices across the country to register for their Voters ID Card.

"The list has also been extended to include HEALTH WORKERS and all categories of SECURITY PERSONNEL, once they are able to show proof of identification".

As a result, the EC has directed registration officials at its various district offices to assist these groups of persons to go through the exercise.

Consequently, the EC has urged all persons in the above listed groups to take advantage of this opportunity to get registered.
