Quoting extensively from both the Bible and the Methodist Hymn Book, the Rt Rev Adjaottor stated that as leaders, theirs was a calling to fulfil and reminded them that they would account for their individual and collective leadership, not only to the church but before the Lord.
She reminded Ghanaians that leadership roles in any human endeavour were highly challenging which behoved leaders to serve and not lord it over the people.
She tasked the new stewards to usher the society into another level of selfless and dedicated leadership based on the principles of love and accountability.
Rt Rev Adjaottor said as leaders, they had the responsibility to team up with both the clergy and the laity to win erring souls, thereby not only increasing the membership of the congregation but also uplifting them spiritually.
The new stewards are Bro. Amissah, Sister Naomi Ofei, Bro. Theodore Achina-Nyakoh, Bro. James Ben Gaisie, Bro. Kojo Amoabban, Sister My Love Amissah and Sister Beatrice Vanderpuije.
Present were the former stewards: Bro. John Victor Eyiah Annan, Sister Helen Adams and Bro. Joseph Sam Brew.
Rev J.K. Donkor, the Assistant Minister of the church and Headmaster of the Methodist Day Secondary School, Tema, was the liturgist.

A MINISTER of the Methodist Church, Ghana has advised Christian leaders to lead exemplary lives devoid of arrogance, pride, greed and lust for money.
The Rt Rev Rosebud Margaret Adjaottor, the Minister in charge of the Calvary Methodist Church, Community Three, Tema, explained that as followers of Christ, church leaders occupied special positions in society and, therefore, must live above reproach in all their endeavours.
She said, “A leader or an elder must live a blameless life because he is God’s Minister…… ”Titus 7:1.
She was inducting into office new society and property stewards of the Calvary Society, headed by Bro. Alex Amissah, at a joint covenant and induction service last Sunday.
