Bekwai: Lawyer Kwasi Amofa-Agyemang donates items to combat COVID-19
An aspiring Member of Parliament for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency primary in Bekwai, Lawyer Kwasi Amofa-Agyemang, popularly known as "Amansie ‘Broni’ has donated some items to help combat the COVID-19 disease in the area.
Lawyer Amofa donated 100 pieces of large Veronica Buckets, 200 pieces of hand washing liquid soap, 3,000 pieces of hand sanitizers, 50 pieces of washing bowls and 100 pieces of paper towels to aid constituents in the fight against coronavirus pandemic.

Presidential directives
Addressing his constituents, Lawyer Amofa-Agyemang emphasized the need for the public to adhere to measures put in place by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service (GHS) to help curb the spread of the contagious disease.
Lawyer Amofa-Agyemang who doubles as the founder and Managing Partner of Messrs KAA LAW, an Accra based law firm, stressed the need for the people to rely solely on information from the World Health Organization (WHO), GHS and Ministry of Information for updates on Ghana's situation of the coronavirus pandemic.
His team took the opportunity to demonstrate to the people how to properly wash their hands and apply the hand sanitizers to combat the pandemic.
“I pledge my continuous support for the constituents and looking forward never to turn my back on my people whenever the need arises," he said.
“It is very important to adhere to the directives of the President so as to contain the spread of the coronavirus".
Beneficiaries
Some beneficiaries of Lawyer Amofa-Agyemang’s donation were markets, police stations, hospitals, health centres and Transport Unions within the constituency.
In their response, some constituents expressed gratitude for his kind gesture and support to the people over the years and promised that they would also reward him during the upcoming elections.
