Bagbin outlines 5 reasons why NDC will win December polls

The Majority Leader in Parliament, Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin has outlined five reasons why the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win the Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

Mr Bagbin in an address at the official launch of the NDC campaign at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, said his party was more formidable and united than ever before which made them favourites for the 2016 elections.

He contended that the governing NDC had built upon the solid foundation laid by former President John Evans Atta Mills which had given them a solid performance record to campaign with.

Mr Bagbin said the party had crafted a solid and credible message as detailed in their manifesto which will convince the Ghanaian electorate to vote for them.

He however, warned the leadership of the party to eschew complacency as they headed into the elections brimming with confidence. 

The Majority Leader also revealed that the ruling party has enough funds to facilitate a winning campaign. 

His major concern was that the party needed to work very hard to win at least two-thirds majority in parliament so Ghana's development does not suffer any needless jolts as happened recently when the house voted against a national desire to hold national general elections on November 7, calling the development a drawback on Ghana's democratic gains.
