The 2012 flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has sent a message of goodwill to the National Chief Imam, Sheik Dr Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, on the occasion of his 91st birthday.
A statement signed by Nana Akufo-Addo said “on behalf of my wife, Rebecca, and our family, I wish the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, a happy 91st birthday”.
The statement said “on this momentous occasion, I pay tribute to the national chief imam’s life, legacy and the significant contributions he has made towards national development.”
He prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the national chief imam longer life to continue to bless this nation with his wisdom and experience, since in Islam wisdom is synonymous with old age.
“Once again, I wish Sheikh Dr Osman Nuhu Sharubutu a very happy birthday,” the statement concluded.
