Afoko can go to court but…
Publisher of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr., is urging suspended New Patriotic Party chairman, Paul Afoko to proceed to court to defend his rights, he feels strongly about it.

Baako does not believe anything good will emerge from that pursuit but he says it is Afoko’s right to defend.
“He was suspended by an appropriate body of the party and he said he didn’t agree and went out there to pose as the party chairman, putting on EC tag and telling them he was there in his own capacity when he knew his status was that of a suspended one,” he said.
Mr Baako made the comments while contributing to discussions on Joy FM’s Newsfile programme on Saturday, saying the suspended chairman had through his lawyer, spoken of taking the issue to court once he could not get justice within the party.
The NPP National Council on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to confirm the suspension of their national chairman.
Seventy people voted in support of the suspension, with only one person voting for his reinstatement and six others absenting in the voting, following a marathon meeting Wednesday.
And according to Baako, Paul Afoko had by his conduct since he was suspended, lost the political battle to be reinstated as chairman.
He added that all Afoko’s showmanship didn’t earn him any sympathy, however, he insisted that Mr. Afoko could go to the court to vindicate himself because it is his right.
Afoko’s suspension followed several internal wrangling within the leadership of the party.
