He said they considered every polling station in the region as a flash stop and were living no stone unturned to ensure successful and peaceful elections in the region.

He stressed the need for political parties to adhere to the electoral code of conducts to promote free and fair elections.

Other members of the task force include, the deputy regional commander and crime officer from the Ghana Police Service, regional immigration officer, military commander responsible for the region.

The rest are the regional commanders of the Ghana National Fire Service, Prison Service and the Staff Officer to the regional police commander as the secretary.

The regional coordinating director, security coordinator, regional electoral officer and regional reads of the following organisations are co opted members. The National Disaster Management Organisation, National Commission on Civic Education, National Ambulance, Attorney General Department and Information Service.
