Esmee’s uncle Brendan O’Reilly said: “She was always smiling and never stopped smiling - she was a happy-go-lucky little girl. She had beautiful blue eyes.”
As reported by the Birmingham Mail , the toddler’s aunty Alana Mary paid tribute on Facebook posting: “You are our beautiful angel we love u Esmee there’s not a day that we won’t think about your lovely infectious smile u brought so much happiness to our life we are all gonna miss u so much sleep tight angel.”
At the time floral tributes were left at the crash scene, alongside a balloon and a teddy bear.
Several members of the public, including a medical student, tried in vain to resuscitate Esmee at the roadside.
Paramedics and police also tried to save Esmee, who had been a passenger in a Ford Fiesta but their efforts were in vain. She was pronounced dead later in hospital.
Police were sent to the collision and found a Fiesta had left the road and hit a tree and wall.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: “Danielle Parsons will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on February 2. She is charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving."
