Most of the baffled public drawing out cash thought the whole thing a bizarre joke.

Fortunately for the worker, one took it seriously and called the police.

“We come out here and sure enough we can hear a little voice coming from the machine," Senior Officer Richard Olden told KZTV. "

So we are thinking this is a joke. It's got to be a joke."

But police kicked down the door and there, inside, was a cash machine maintenance man. He had been stuck inside for about two hours.
