Health staff update skills in records management

Speaking at the graduation ceremony at the college's campus at Kintampo over the weekend, Dr Emmanuel Teye Adjase, the Director of the CoHK, stressed the importance of accurate and verifiable data to healthcare delivery in the country.

He stated that the training programme had been specially designed by the college for the GHS to help staff working at service delivery facility points to update their knowledge to enable them to generate accurate data which could be used for effective planning and policy implementation in the health sector of the country and by international organisations as well.

Deputy Chief Biostatistician of GHS, Mr Ken Ameovi Gbeve, who chaired the function, urged participants to go and implement what they had learnt to ensure an efficient health information management system to enhance healthcare delivery in the country.

Certificates were later presented to the participants.
