Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS 2002 alumni supports alma mater

The old girls association of the Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School (SHS) 2002 year group has presented some personal protective equipment (PPE) to the school to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The items included branded face shields for teachers, 80 gallons of handwashing liquid soap, 50 gallons of floor disinfectants, gallons of hand sanitizers and packs of tissue papers.

In making the presentation, Dorcas Osei Bonsu who led the delegation hinted that, the 2002 year group decided to support the school with the PPE to ensure staff and students' safety.

She pledged the year group's commitment towards the safety and welfare of students and staff.

She added the gesture was the beginning of many more to come and that the old girls will continue to support the school.

The headmistress, Ms Fameyeh Asuande Eshun, on behalf of management, teachers and the students expressed their profound gratitude for the gesture.
