This followed the elevation of the Atonsu-Agogo Society of the church to a circuit as a result of its growth in membership and development in the past few years.

The induction ceremony coincided with the dedication of a 34-seater Mercedes Benz bus of the Emmanuel Methodist Church, purchased at a cost of GH¢110,000 to enhance evangelism and other social activities of the church.

In a homily delivered at a service to mark the induction, the Methodist Bishop of the Kumasi Diocese, the Rt Rev. Christopher N. Andam, asked the new Superintendent Minister to establish a cordial relationship with the members and be accountable to them to ensure the further growth and development of the circuit.

He said as the minister in charge of the Atonsu-Agogo Circuit, the Very Rev. Mensah had the responsibility for ensuring the growth of the church through effective evangelism and winning souls for Christ, as well as promoting the welfare of the members.

The Rt Rev. Andam called on the congregation to offer the needed support and encouragement to the Superintendent Minister to help him promote the growth of the church and their spiritual development.
