Two killed in fire ourtbreak at Kokomlemle

Two siblings were trapped and killed in a fire that gutted their house at Kokomlemle in Accra at about 10:30 pm on Friday.

The 10-year-old Junior Okai and his brother, Stephen Okai were asleep in their room when the incident occurred.

Eyewitnesses said they heard the children calling for help.

Three other family members sustained various degree of injury, a station fire officer at the headquarters of the Ghana National Fire Service, Mr Eugene Ahomi said.

Mr Ahomi told Accra based radio station, Joy FM  the cause of the fire is yet to be established.
