Stakeholders reach agreement on DTT infrastructure

Stakeholders on the digital terrestrial television (DTT) migration project yesterday reached a resolution to maintain an independent company, the Central Digital Transmission Company Limited (CDTC), to operate and manage the DTT infrastructure.

The parties also agreed to continue to engage each other on the project as it proceeds.

The three-point resolution, reached after a four-and-half hours closed-door meeting of stakeholders in the broadcasting industry, would see the parties collaborating in joint public education campaigns on the DTT project.
