The Tamale Sector Commander of Customs, Dr Godfred Okoh-Appiah at a media briefing said a sample of the chemical has been sent to the Customs Laboratory in Accra for testing to ascertain its veracity or otherwise as well as its wholesomeness.

Dr Okoh-Appiah said the results of the test would determine the next action to be taken and that when it was proven to be ethanol, the state could rake in total estimated revenue of about Gh₵139,000.
