Paramount on their list is a community centre. At present, all social activities, especially funerals, are held around the main Accra-Hohoe-Jasikan highway which divides the town into two with a lot of fatalities due to accidents.

This was announced at a grand durbar of chiefs and people from all walks of life to climax the 10th anniversary celebration of the installation of Nana Kofi Ollator IV, the Kyidomhene and Mama Kyi, Kyidomhema of Santrokofi Traditional Area at Benua .

The celebration, which was full of colour and showmanship, attracted all the chiefs from the Tafi Traditional Area including their kith and kin who showcased their rich and diverse culture as the crowd cheered and offered curtsies to the chiefs as they greeted them.

The festival was also to raise funds for the launch of an educational fund to among other things, offer scholarships to their bright, needy children to pursue higher education.

Delivering his speech on the occasion, Nana Ollator, who is also the chief of Batsorna, said it was regrettable that they did not have any space for their celebration. "The only space we have is the main road for which many people have lost their lives due to road traffic accidents", he lamented.

Nana Ollator added that they also needed roads to their farms since they suffer a lot from post harvest losses because they could not bring their farm produce to the market centres easily. He, therefore, appealed to the Hohoe Municipal Assembly to come to their aid as soon as possible.

Nana Ollator said they had developed a new community bearing the name, "Sanco Four" which was inaugurated on February 1, 2012 by the Paramount Chief of the Santrokofi Traditional Area, Nana Letsabi II.

Nana Sarku Brempong V, Nifahene of Santrokofi Traditional Area advised parents to invest in the education of their children since that would ensure a bright future for them.

Awards were presented to deserving prominent citizens and sons of the area for their selfless devotion and contribution toward the development of the town.
