Rehoboth Properties denies armed robery case at Oyarifa

Rehoboth Properties Limited has refuted a report of an alleged armed robbery case published on the Graphic Online website on October 12, 2019.

The incident reportedly happened at the house of a prison officer at the Rehoboth Estates in Oyarifa where the officer gunned down a suspected armed robber who was part of a three-man gang in self denfence.

In a press release dated October 14, 2019, and signed by the Executive Director, Nora Akrofi, the company stated that “no such incident occurred in any of our gated communities at Oyarifa.”

The press release stated that the publication sought to misinform the general public and tarnish the image and hard-earned reputation of the Rehoboth Brand.

“We therefore request Graphic Communications Group to correct this misinformation and publish same on all the social media portals and print media within 3 days,” the statement said.

The company has however assured customers and the general public of safe and secure gated communities.
