Redemption Methodist Church supports fire victims

The Redemption Methodist Church at Abeka in Accra has presented GH¢2,000 to five of its members whose property got burnt during the fire outbreaks at  the Kantamanto and Agbogloshie markets.

The Very Rev. Eugene Armaah, the Superintendent Minister of the Abeka Circuit, who presented the money to the fire victims, encouraged them to invest the money in ventures that would enable them to  support their families.

 

He said it was the church’s wish to give more than that but ; “as you all know, the church has other responsibilities’’.

According to him, there are other members who also need help from the church. “We just wanted to put smiles on your faces again, so cheer up, we hope the Almighty God will see you through,’’ he remarked.
