According to the wholly-owned indigenous firm which has a strong clientele base including Stanchart, Databank and Bayport, the move forms part of the company’s quest to assist the government to empower the youth in ICT.

The Manager in charge of Products, Solutions and Training, Mr Christian Senyo Attitsogbui, said Raycom will also institute a training programme for ICT and Computer Science graduates from the universities and polytechnics to improve their practical knowledge.

Mr Attitsogbui, who was speaking at an end-of-year cocktail party for the company’s clients, said he believed such a move will help them provide the technical communication needs to businesses in the country.

“A lot of our young Ghanaians who are graduating from institutions are having serious challenges with the practicalities in the industry so with over a decade’s  existence as a business we think it is about time to take our training activities to a different level where we will now  have a bigger audience where we can share our knowledge with them. That’s one of our biggest goals for next year,” he added.
