Rawlings condoles NPP on Jake's death
Former President Jerry John Rawlings and wife Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings have expressed their condolence at the death of former Chairman of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP) Mr Jake Obetsebi Lamptey.

A statement signed by the former first couple said :
"We have learnt of the sad demise of Mr Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, former Chairman of the New Patriotic Party and leading figure in the advertising and marketingindustry.
Our deepest sympathies go out to his family. May God give you comfort and peace at this difficult moment and may the soul of your beloved Jake rest in peace."
Jake, as he was affectionately called, is reported to have died early Sunday morning in London where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
