President John Mahama has congratulated America's President-elect Donald John Trump on his shock victory in the United States Presidential Elections on Wednesday morning.

The Republican candidate won key swing states such as Florida, North Carolina and Ohio to pip his main competitor Democrat Hillary Clinton to the White House.
President Mahama congratulated Trump in a post on his Facebook page.
He posted: Congratulations, US President elect Donald Trump.
President Mahama is seeking re-election next month at the polls in Ghana.
