Others were bags of clothing, packs of toothpaste, loaves of bread, bags of sachet water and boxes of biscuits.

The donation was to support the upkeep of inmates.

Presenting the items, president of the Women’s Fellowship Mrs. Cecelia Pokuah Anto said the group decided to show love to the Echoing Hills Village in keeping with the theme for the anniversary celebration - "Let the earth hear the passionate soul winner (The Good Samaritan)".

Rev. Emmanuel Asimadu Wiafe, Minister-in-charge at the Adabraka Official Town Presby Church, urged the women fellowship to move the world with the word.

He added that if the world is hearing the word, then they are hearing the goodness of God towards them which will manifest in their giving to the world.

The head of the home, Rev. Lawrence Lamina and Ms. Marigold Cobbina, a caregiver, expressed their appreciation to the group for the kind gesture.

The school prefect Maame Yaa received the items on behalf of the inmates and together with some of her colleagues, Jacob and Paa Joe expressed their appreciation and asked that the Women’s' Fellowship continue to do more.
