The two sub-chiefs swore the oath of allegiance to the Paramount Chief of Osu, Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI, at a colourful durbar.

Advice to Chiefs

Speaking after the swearing-in ceremony, Nii Dowuona noted that in spite of the fact that Osu was endowed with rich potential and investments, chieftaincy and land disputes over the years had retarded the growth and development of the area.

He therefore called on the residents of Osu and its environs to stay united and be committed to its progress.

He also charged all the divisional and sub-divisional chiefs within the paramountcy to stay united and focused and forge ahead for development in the area.

Nii Dowuona admonished the newly installed chiefs to use their rich experiences in their fields of endeavour to help transform Osu and its environs.
