NVTI makes new appointments

The National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) has appointed two new management members to hold various positions in the institute.

They are Mr Charles Kudjoe Amevor, the Deputy Director of the institute, and Mrs Juliana Nkrumah, the Controller of Apprenticeship.

Mr Amevor, a chartered accountant by profession, has skills in areas such as business risk management and strategic business unit performance management.

He holds a BA degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting), both from the University of Ghana.

Mr Amevor was the Head of Public Sector Business of the United Bank for Africa (UBA), Chief Financial Officer of the UBA, Head of Internal Audit of uniBank Ghana Ltd and Bank Examiner of the Bank of Ghana.

Mrs Nkrumah, who is a member of Incorporated Engineers Association, has a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cape Coast and holds a B.Ed degree in Technology Education from the University College of Education, Winneba, Kumasi Campus.

She was a lecturer at the Mampong Technical College of Education, where she planned, prepared and lectured trainee teachers and supervised teacher trainees’ project work.

Mrs Nkrumah was also a part-time lecturer at the University of Education –College of Agriculture, Mampong and a tutor at the Cape Coast Technical Institute.
