The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has announced the death of its Deputy Chief Executive, Dr Dramani Bukari
In a statement, the NPA expressed profound sorrow over his passing, describing his death as a significant loss.
“It is with profound sorrow that the Board and Management of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) announce the sudden passing of our Deputy Chief Executive, Dr. Dramani Bukari.”
“Dr Dramani Bukari’s passing is a great loss to the Authority, the downstream petroleum industry, and all who had the privilege to work with him,” the statement read.
The Authority said that while it was deeply saddened by his departure, it found comfort in the belief that he had returned to his Maker.
The Board and Management extended their condolences to Dr Bukari’s family, loved ones, colleagues and all those mourning his death.
The NPA also prayed for strength, comfort and peace for those affected by the loss, while asking Allah to grant Dr Bukari eternal rest.
“We pray that the Almighty Allah give us all strength, comfort, and peace in this difficult time.”
“May Allah grant our brother, boss and leader Eternal Rest. Ameen,” it added.
The statement opened with the Qur’anic verse: “Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return” (Qur’an 2:156).
