Northern Region GJA to award journalists on Tuesday

The Northern, Savannah and North East Regional Chapter of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) will on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 award eight journalists and three radio stations during its maiden awards ceremony.
The nominees were announced at a press conference in Tamale on Monday addressed by the Chapter Chairman, Mr Ceaser Abagali.

The nominees are Mohammed Fugu of the Daily Graphic, Eric Kombat of Daily Guide, Daina Ngon of Citi News, Mohammed Baba Kamil of TV Africa, Yahaya Masahudu of the Finder newspaper, Joyce Kantam of GBC, Mohammed Hashmin of Joy News and Sayida Malititi Sadik of Sagani TV.
Members of the awards committee panel are veteran journalists Mr Fred Osei Agyeman, Mr Abdallah Kasim Perez, Mr Alidu Baba Mr Saaka Mohammed of GBC) and Ms Belko Sauda of UDS.
The five member panel scrutinised entries from the potential winners over the last month.
