'No pay, just apply': Ministry of Health opens portal for 36th batch of doctors and dentists tomorrow

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced that its online recruitment portal will officially open tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at exactly 10 am.

The portal is being opened to absorb the 36th batch of Medical Officers and Dentists into the public health sector.

According to an official statement signed by the Chief Director of the Ministry, the recruitment drive is aimed at filling critical staffing gaps within health facilities across the country.

The exercise is specifically targeted at medical and dental professionals who have successfully completed their mandatory House Job and have been duly verified by the Medical and Dental Council.

Qualified applicants are expected to log on to the Ministry’s dedicated recruitment website, https://mohrecruitment.com, to formally submit their applications.

The Ministry noted that the portal will require applicants to follow specific instructions to select their preferred districts and agencies for deployment.

The window for applications is notably brief. Prospective applicants must submit their forms between the opening time tomorrow and the strict deadline of Thursday, October 29, 2026.

In a bid to ensure a smooth and credible process, the Ministry has issued a strong caution regarding the transparency of the recruitment. It advised applicants to be highly vigilant against fraudulent individuals who might claim to offer assistance or fast-track the process for a fee.

"The Ministry of Health advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process," the statement read, reiterating that the recruitment remains strictly transparent.

The Ministry is counting on the usual cooperation of the public and the medical fraternity as it prepares to onboard the new cohort of health professionals to bolster the country's healthcare delivery system.
