"Nigerian Week Ghana” is a proposed community event planned to showcase the characteristic features and quality of products and services of Nigerians living in Ghana.

The suggested event is also aimed at introducing the world to economic opportunities in Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation.

Nigerian Week Ghana is expected to attract investors to take interest in Nigeria and invest in the Nigerian economy.

The week-long event is scheduled to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre beginning on October 1, and is expected to feature an exhibition of made-in-Nigeria products, a Nigeria@57 Independence Lecture and a lecture on culture and tourism.

The  Co-Founder of All Africa Media Network, Mr Chinaka Iwuoha, disclosed that the organisation would be collaborating with Nigerian media practitioners resident in Ghana, the Nigeria Union of Traders, Ghana and corporate institutions in the implementation of the proposed Nigeria Week Ghana celebrations.

"All Africa Media Network has had over eight years of relationship with the Nigeria High Commission Ghana which began with the launch of the Nigerian Eye newspaper in April 2009,” he said.

The network published an editorial research for the book, Nigeria Diplomatic Footprints in Ghana and also reported on the All Africa Art and Literary Festival in July 2014.

These are projects the AAMN had executed in advancing Nigeria’s socio-economic interest and bilateral relationship with Ghana.
