He asked him to ‘put in place the best measures which will attract investors to the area to benefit  the people and Ghana as whole”.

Nii Otu made the call when the Appolonia chief was formally introduced to the chiefs and elders of Kpone. Nii Amobi also swore the oath of allegiance to Nii Otu, who expressed happiness that Appolonia had peacefully installed a chief with the support of the people and emphasised the need for them to support him.  He said Appolonia was well-resourced but would need good leadership to make good use of the resources.

Nii Nuertey Amobi, a 35-year-old electrical engineer, was installed chief of Appolonia on January 20, 2014, to replace Nii Tei Adumuah who died at the age of 86 after ruling for 40 years.

During his installation at  Appolonia, Nii Nuertey Amobi swore the oath of allegiance to the Mankralo of  Kpone Traditional Area, Nii Ofosu Oblie.

According to the tradition of the people of Appolonia,  the introduction of the new chief to the  paramount chief concludes the process of the installation.

Before the swearing of the oath of allegiance to the  Kpone paramount chief,  Nii Nuertey  Amobi was paraded through Kpone.

There are eight communities that form the Paramount Stool of Kpone. These are: Appolonia, Mlitsa Kpo, Sewrepor, Kpoi Ete, Saduase, Gbetsile  and Bawaleshie.
