Nestlé Ghana Ltd has launched a nationwide 'Taste of Ghana' campaign aimed at celebrating the country's rich culinary heritage while promoting domestic tourism through a road tour across all 16 regions.
The initiative forms part of Maggi's commitment to bringing families, friends and communities together through good food.
Also, the initiative is designed not only to promote the Maggi brand but also to celebrate the unique identities, cultures and attractions that make each region of Ghana distinctive, encouraging Ghanaians to explore the country's food, history and tourism offerings.
Launch
Launched last Friday at Nestlé Ghana's head office in Dzorwulu, the event featured speeches and cultural performances by the Adesa Taloi Drumming and Dance Group.
Celebrating the rich culinary traditions of Ghana's 16 regions, the performances highlighted the country's diverse cuisines, with the dancers encouraging participants to use Maggi products to enhance the flavour of their meals.
The event also marked the appointment of four entertainment personalities and social media content creators as Brand Ambassadors for Maggi D3d33d3. They are comic actor and television presenter Akrobeto (born Akwesi Boadi), Princess Ama Burland, Kojo Junior and Jean Claude.
The launch brought together the company's management and staff for a vibrant celebration of Ghanaian food, culture and heritage.
Among those in attendance were the Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana, Salome Azevedo, Category Manager for Beverages & Dairy, Marion Otoo, Corporate Communications Manager, Deborah Kwablah and Category Manager for Culinary, Mark Okyere Mensah.
Quality seasoning product
Speaking at the launch, Category Manager for Culinary at Nestlé Ghana, Mark Okyere Mensah said sharing meals creates memorable experiences, and Maggi seeks to enhance those moments by providing quality seasoning products that improve the taste of local dishes.
Mr Okyere Mensah described Maggi D3d33d3 as the brand's flagship seasoning product, saying it delivers exceptional flavour across a wide range of Ghanaian meals.

He encouraged consumers to try the product, expressing confidence in its quality and even offering to refund customers who are not satisfied with its performance.
He explained that the 'Taste of Ghana' campaign will take the Maggi team on a journey through every region of the country to sample traditional dishes from different ethnic groups while highlighting the role of Maggi in enhancing the taste of local cuisine.
Beyond food, he said the campaign will also showcase tourist attractions and cultural heritage sites in each region, linking Ghana's diverse culinary traditions with its tourism potential.
Promoting Ghanaian cuisine
Brand Manager for Maggi, Magherita Amon said Maggi Dedede seasoning is at the centre of the company's latest campaign to promote authentic Ghanaian cuisine, citing its versatility and blend of locally familiar ingredients as key selling points.
She said Maggi D3d33d3 was selected as the featured product because it complements a wide variety of Ghanaian dishes while delivering a distinctive local flavour.
She explained that the seasoning combines shrimp, fish and garlic into a single tablet, bringing together ingredients that are commonly used in Ghanaian kitchens to create a convenient all-in-one seasoning.

According to Mrs Amon, although Maggi Dedede has been available on the market for some time, consumer awareness of the product remains relatively low. The nationwide campaign is therefore intended to introduce more Ghanaians to the seasoning by allowing them to sample it alongside traditional meals from different regions.
She said the roadshow will travel across the country, celebrating regional cuisines while giving consumers the opportunity to experience the taste and versatility of Maggi D3d33d3 firsthand.
Mrs Amon added that the campaign seeks to promote not only the product but also Ghana's rich culinary traditions by demonstrating how locally inspired ingredients can enhance everyday meals.
