Ambassador Kumi retired in 2011 after serving the Foreign Service for 35 years.

Launching the book

Reviewing the book at the launch in Accra, Professor Baffour Agyeman-Duah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The John Kufuor Foundation, said the book documented the experiences and relations of the author at the foreign missions and also unveiled the role of diplomatic mission in Ghana’s political transition in 2001.

He urged students and diplomats to read the book to increase their knowledge in international politics.

“I entreat everyone who has interest in international diplomacy to get a copy of the book,” he said.

Ambassador James Victor Gbeho launched the book and commended the author for her diligence and the hard work she exhibited throughout her professional career.

He asked students to get the book and use it as a reference material.
