The taxi driver who allegedly held captive and defiled an 11-year-old girl for five days at Beach Comba, Nungua, has been granted bail in the sum of GH¢30,000 with three sureties by an Accra Circuit Court.
Prince Samuel Adzoktsi, 47, who had earlier pleaded not guilty, was charged with defilement of a child under 16 years by the court, presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong-Adjin Doku.
The case is adjourned to May 14, 2018 for hearing.
Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Kofi Atimbre told the court that on February 18, 2018, the victim was sent by her mother to collect money from her father that morning.
The victim left home and did not return and this made her mother to panic and report to the Osu Police Station.
