Latex Foam Supports Police Depot Clinic
Latex Foam has presented mattresses and other beddings valued at GH¢₵10,000 and GH¢₵5,000.00 cash to the Police Depot Clinic at Tesano, in Accra.

This followed an appeal made by the clinic to the company to support the renovations being undertaken to position it to meet the challenges posed by the ever-increasing patients that report daily at the clinic.
The items include steel benches for the OPD, bonded high density mattresses, 12 pieces of bedspreads, ten pieces of Dona pillows and GH¢ 5,000.00 cash towards the construction of a septic tank for the clinic.
Mr Isaac Fenning, acting Public Relations Officer of Latex Foam, who made the presentation, said the donation was in line with the company’s commitment to effective Corporate Social Responsibility.
He said the company had a tradition of extending goodwill and support to institutions as its contribution in ensuring effective and efficient health care delivery in the country.
He said apart from helping the police as an institution, the company was elated that civilians also benefited from the health care delivery at the clinic which he said was very healthy for police-civilian relationship.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Osabarima Oware Asare Pinko III, Director-General, Human Resource Development and Special Duties of the Ghana Police Service, who received the items, commended Latex Foam for its benevolence and assured the company that they would be used to enhance medical care delivery at the clinic.
He said the clinic catered for the medical needs of the large Police Community within the depot as well as other staff members, residents of Adabraka, Tesano, Achimota school, Mile 7 Police Station and police barracks at Kaneshie and Dansoman.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Deborah Addison Campbell of the National Police Training School said the refurbishment of the clinic was necessary for the enhancement of its services to patients.
She expressed appreciation to Latex Foam and appealed to other institutions to come to the aid of the clinic in its quest to improve health delivery services of the depot.
