Latex Foam donates towards Graphic’s 70th anniversary

Latex Foam, the leading foam manufacturing company in Ghana and West Africa has donated 6,000 pieces of its Safe-Max surgical face mask to the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL).

The gesture forms part of the company’s support towards the 70th anniversary celebration of the GCGL. Formed on October 2, 1950, GCGL is 70 years old this year.

Presenting the masks on Thursday, September 17, 2020, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Latex Foam, Mrs Gifty Ekeocha Appiah, said the company considers GCGL as one of its major business partner, particularly when it comes to market communications.

She said the company has had a very fruitful business relationship with GCGL and that Latex Foam finds it necessary to support the 70th anniversary celebration of the company.

"Like the Latex Foam brand, we see Graphic Communications Group Limited as a quality name that deserves no less than the best. This is why we have come on board with a token support most suitable for the times," she said.

Safe-Max masks

Mrs Appiah added "Latex Foam has produced the best quality products on the market over the years, and the nose mask is an addition influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to provide a ready-made material that helps the public to stay safe from the virus."

She said the Safe-Max surgical masks, which the company started producing in Ghana some two months ago has received approval from the Food and Drugs Authority.

She said the Safe-Max surgical masks were affordable and were available on the market, saying “it’s highly affordable and it's on the market.”  

Mrs Appiah said Latex Foam will continue to work with GCGL as a major marketing communications partner, wishing the company good luck in its 70th anniversary celebration.

GCGL’s gratitude

The Graphic Corporate Communications Manager, Mr Emmanuel Agyei Arthur, who received the items on behalf of the company, expressed gratitude to Latex Foam for the gesture.

He said "Latex Foam has remained a reliable partner in business, and we reckon that this gesture will strengthen the relationship even more as we celebrate another milestone in the company's life."

He noted that the donation of the face masks shows that Latex Foam “cares about the staff of GCGL and their families,” pointing out that the mask will protect the staff of the company who go out on a daily basis to conduct the company’s business as well as the company's clinic staff.

Mr Agyei Arthur said it was the company's priority to ensure that its staff and their families were safe from all illness, particularly COVID-19, saying “We thank Latex Foam.”
