IAA Boss calls on Graphic MD

The Managing Director of the International Advertising Association, Mr Michael Lee, Friday paid a courtesy call on the Managing Director of Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), Mr Kenneth Ashigbey.

Accompanied by Mrs Norkor Duah, the President of the Advertising Association of Ghana (AAG) and other delegates from the association, Mr Lee briefed Mr Ashigbey on a two-day IAA conference scheduled for November 2014 in Accra.

Mr Lee said the IAA was looking to partner GCGL to ensure the success of the conference, which he said would facilitate the sharing of ideas about the changes happening in the advertising industry.

Mrs Duah, who is also the Vice President of IAA for Africa, said African countries such as Nigeria and South Africa will attend the conference to share the African experience and learn about new perspectives from around the world.

For his part, Mr Ashigbey said the GCGL would work with the IAA and AAG to ensure the success of the conference.

He said being market leaders in the media industry, GCGL will partner them "to share ideas in order to improve the industry that we find ourselves in”.
