Head of Special Assets Mgt at Stanchart visits Ghana

The Group Head, Group Special Assets Management at Standard Chartered Bank, Mr Ian Anderson, has begun a two-day working visit to Ghana.

While in Ghana, he will interact with clients and senior managers of the bank as well as hold an engagement session with a cross-section of the bank staff. 

The visit underscores the importance of the country to the Group and its commitment to invest in Africa.

Mr Anderson has more than 20 years of experience in managing distressed assets through his roles at a number of global financial institutions including Morgan Stanley and Royal Bank of Canada and as Managing Director of Institutional Recovery Management at Citi in Hong Kong. 

This is in addition to his experience at accountancy firm Price Waterhouse Coopers, where he was a partner in the Debt Advisory and Restructuring Group from 2009, delivering complex global projects across the client base. 

Mr Anderson joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2014.
