Graphic reporter wins Dag Hammarskjöld Fellowship

A Daily Graphic reporter, Mrs Doreen Andoh, is one of the proud winners of the four prestigious Dag Hammarskjöld fellowships to cover the United Nations ( UN) from September to November 2015.

The fellowship, named after a former UN Secretary-General, gives journalists from developing countries an opportunity to observe deliberations during the first 10 weeks of the U.N. General Assembly

A statement from the Board Chairperson of the Dag Hammarskjöld’s fellowship, Ms Evelyn Leopold, said Doreen was one of the two African journalists who won the fellowship, this year.

Other winners

Other winners, the statement said, are Fabiola Ortiz, a Brazilian freelance journalist reporting in Portuguese, Spanish and English; Karthikeyan Hemalatha of the Times of India; and Mercy Juma a journalist with the NTV and The Daily Nation of Kenya.
