Mr Adjei gave the assurance at the annual end-of-year dinner/dance of the GAF at the Officers Mess, near the 37 Military Hospital in Accra last Saturday.

Mr Adjei said the country had, in the past years, suffered some natural disasters, disease outbreaks and strikes and commended officers at the 37 Military Hospital, for example, for their rapid response to the care needed by patients and victims of the disasters.

He said the hospital's ability to handle such situations, in spite of its challenges, gave an assurance to the people and the government that the Military Hospital was capable of performing under the most challenging situations.

He also commended the officers for their continued role of catering for clients and patients from all parts of the country, as well as serving as a referral centre.

Mr Adjei said the ministry was working at improving the infrastructure and logistics at the hospital to ensure smooth running of the facility.
