According to her, they were told the Government has put in place a mandatory quarantine for all passengers arriving from outside.

Shirley said she was impressed with the directives put in place by the government.

“Right now, we are in a hotel and I must say that I am impressed with the arrangement that has been put in place, it’s not convenient for anyone. You get into your country and you want to go home.”

She explained that the situation was well managed, proper measures were put in place to make sure that they were safe.

“You are screened at the Airport and they pick your bags, and they have the Ghana Armed Forces buses that pick all the bags, you wait for a cargo truck while the Ghana Armed Forces buses pick all the passengers, you wait with your bags then its put into the cargo track, once they have all the passengers from that particular airline, you are then called or moved into the hotel.”

She added that sooner or later, they will be tested and results will be released.
