Two Canadians kidnapped in Kumasi

The police in the Ashanti Region are on a mad hunt for two female Canadian nationals who have allegedly been kidnapped by some unknown persons.
The incident is said to have happened last night at their residence closer to the Vienna city night club in Kumasi.

Confirming the incident to Accra based radio station, Citi FM, the Public Relations Officer for the Ashanti Regional Police Command, DSP Godwin Ahianyo said his men are working to rescue the women.
The development comes in the wake of the recent kidnapping of a Lebanese Consular General by some Nigerians at Labone in Accra.
