“An informant reported that he saw some human skeletal remains in the valley. So Police accompanied him to the scene about 150 meters away in a nearby bush where some old human skeletal remains were found in a refuse dump. Upon observation and inspection, the remains were in sacks and polythene bags.” he said.

He said investigations have commenced into the matter.

He was however of the view that police suspect that the human remains were exhumed and dumped by estate developers building in old cemeteries or grave looters.

“Preliminary investigations suggest it was dumped there for quite some time. It could not be ruled out that the remains were dumped by grave looters.”
