The founder of the International God's Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has called on pastors that speak against his lotto distribution sermons to curse themselves to prove their stance.
Many preachers have criticized Obinim’s distribution of lotto numbers to members of his congregations, with regular testimonies of big wins. He has often defended the act, claiming it is God inspired.
In a video circulating on social media, Obinim insists it was Jesus Christ that asked him to give lotto numbers to people because many are being cheated of the national cake.
He says the instruction to give out the lotto numbers is Christ’s way of allowing others to have a fair share of the national cake, and dared any pastor that says lotto is a sin to swear to that contention.
He adds that Jesus Christ should destroy him or make him blind to prove He is not the one that instructed him to distribute the lotto numbers to his people.
He again said he is ready to face anyone who says lotto is a sin, and challenges such persons to prove their claims.
He says he has given God 72 hours, (three days) to speak on the lotto issue or hear from him. He intends to burn his cars if God fails to speak.
