Police arrests 22 year who has inflected cutlass wounds on a 5 year boy

Police in the Central Region has arrested a 22 year old woman, Afua Abaduwah who allegedly inflicted cutlass wounds on a five year old stepson.

She was alleged to have cut the hand of the five year old boy with a cutlass three weeks ago when they were picking cassava sticks from the farm, but refused to take him to the hospital.

According to Joy FM, It took the intervention of some Good Samaritans to rescue the boy and raise funds to send the boy to the hospital.

Mrs Abaduwah has been arrested by the police with her husband, but but information by the police states that the father of the boy is on his plamwine extradiction at the moment and yet to return for questioning.

Kofi’s arm will be amputated at the Cape Cost teaching hospital as Doctors waits for the parents  to come and sign a concert form, to enable quick amputation.

According to Joy FM, It took the intervention of some Good Samaritans to rescue the boy and raise funds to send the boy to the hospital.

The District Director of the National Commission for Civic Education for Abrah Aseibu kwaman kese, Ellen Osei who took the boy to the cape cost hospital, said the parents of the boy are needed to come and sign a concert form so the hand can be amputated.

“ The boy said he was picking cassava sticks when the mom intentionally  hit him with the knife, after three weeks the mom realised the thing is swollen and smelling, so his not allowing the boy in the room, So his sleeping outside the house. Currently they are saying they have to send the boy to the theatre and they may need both parent. They are to come and sign a concert form so that they will amputate the hand,” she said.
