The Deputy-Director General of the Research Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Mr Peter Nyarko Opata has thus been appointed to take Ambassador Inusah’s place at the Ministry.

Meanwhile, security sources have told Graphic Online that a photograph taken of former President John Mahama’s visit to Mr Koku Anyidoho on Wednesday while in custody at the BNI could be the reason for Mr Appiah's reassignment.

The security sources explained, that judgement to allow a photo of a suspect in custody is a serious security breach and a poor judgment on his part.

They say while the former president has every right to visit him, photo ops was a “no, no”.
